There are a lot of benefits to getting an education online, and one of them is that you can work at your own pace to some extent. You’ll still have deadlines when things have to be turned in, but you can work toward them at your own pace. That means you can work around your job, your family obligations, and your hobbies, as well as any other commitments that you have.
You can also learn at many different universities that are accredited, and you don’t have to train somewhere that you’ve never heard of just because you’re learning online. It can often be cheaper, too. Tuition is generally less, but even when it’s comparable you don’t have any room and board, you don’t have as many books (many of them are online), and you don’t have the gasoline to drive to and from your classes each day. This is very important, especially when the economy is struggling and you don’t have a lot of money to spend.
